Trend Trend (ट्रेंड)
The prevailing direction of price movement over a given period. एक निश्चित समय में भाव की मुख्य दिशा।
A trend describes whether price is broadly moving up (uptrend), down (downtrend), or sideways (ranging). An uptrend is defined by a series of higher highs and higher lows; a downtrend by lower highs and lower lows. The old trading adage "the trend is your friend" reflects that trading with the prevailing direction improves the probability of success. On a Nifty daily chart, identifying whether the index is in an uptrend or downtrend helps traders pick the right directional bias.
Trend बताता है कि भाव समग्र रूप से ऊपर (uptrend), नीचे (downtrend) या sideways (ranging) जा रहा है। Uptrend में लगातार higher highs और higher lows बनते हैं; downtrend में lower highs और lower lows। पुरानी ट्रेडिंग कहावत "the trend is your friend" यही दर्शाती है कि मुख्य दिशा के साथ trade करने से सफलता की संभावना बढ़ती है। Nifty के daily चार्ट पर यह पहचानना कि index uptrend में है या downtrend में, traders को सही directional bias चुनने में मदद करता है।
