Relative Strength Index Relative Strength Index (RSI)
A momentum oscillator measuring the speed and magnitude of recent price changes, scaled 0–100. एक momentum oscillator जो हालिया भाव-बदलाव की गति और तीव्रता 0–100 के पैमाने पर मापता है।
The relative strength index (RSI) compares average gains to average losses over 14 periods by default: RSI = 100 − [100 ÷ (1 + RS)], where RS = avg gain ÷ avg loss. Readings above 70 signal overbought; below 30 signal oversold. On an NSE chart, an RSI dropping back below 70 after a rally is read as a cue to tighten stops. RSI divergence — price hitting new highs while RSI does not — warns of a weakening trend.
