Conditions where a security has risen or fallen so sharply that a reversal or pause is likely. वे स्थितियाँ जब कोई security इतनी तेज़ी से ऊपर या नीचे जाए कि reversal या pause संभव हो।
A stock is overbought when oscillators suggest it has risen too far, too fast — RSI above 70 or Stochastic above 80 — making a pullback probable. Oversold is the reverse: RSI below 30 or Stochastic below 20. On NSE, an RSI of 85 after a rapid mid-cap rally prompts many traders to book profits or tighten stops. Crucially, a stock can stay overbought through a strong trend; use these readings as caution flags, not automatic reversal signals.
