On-Balance Volume (OBV) adds a session's full volume to a running total when price closes higher, and subtracts it when price closes lower. The premise is that volume precedes price: rising OBV while an NSE stock's price lags suggests accumulation ahead of a breakout. Falling OBV during a rally (bearish divergence) warns the move lacks conviction. Traders watch OBV's trend relative to price, not its absolute level.
On-Balance Volume (OBV) जब भाव ऊपर बंद हो तो पूरे session का volume running total में जोड़ता है, और नीचे बंद हो तो घटाता है। इसका आधार यह है कि volume, price से पहले चलता है: अगर किसी NSE शेयर के भाव से आगे OBV बढ़ रहा है तो यह breakout से पहले accumulation का संकेत है। Rally के दौरान गिरता OBV (bearish divergence) बताता है कि चाल में conviction नहीं है। Traders OBV के absolute level नहीं, बल्कि price के सापेक्ष उसके trend पर नज़र रखते हैं।
