BTST BTST (Buy Today, Sell Tomorrow)

Buying shares today and selling them the next trading day before delivery settles. आज shares ख़रीदकर delivery settle होने से पहले अगले trading day बेच देना।

BTST (Buy Today, Sell Tomorrow) is a short-term strategy where shares bought today are sold the very next trading day, before the T+1 delivery settlement completes. The trader aims to capture an overnight gap or continuation move. Because the shares haven't arrived in the demat account yet, there is a risk of short delivery if the original seller fails to deliver. BTST trades are common around results announcements or technical breakouts on NSE/BSE where the trader expects a quick follow-through move.
