The highest price a buyer is currently willing to pay for a stock. वह सबसे ऊँची कीमत जो कोई buyer अभी किसी शेयर के लिए देने को तैयार है।
The bid price is the best (highest) price at which a buyer has placed an order in the market at a given moment. It represents demand — if you hold shares and want to sell immediately, the bid is what you will receive. For example, if Reliance Industries is quoted with a bid of ₹2,950, that is the best price a buyer in the NSE order book is offering right now. The bid is always lower than the ask price, and the gap between them is the bid-ask spread.
Bid price वह सबसे अच्छी (सबसे ऊँची) कीमत है जिस पर किसी buyer ने उस पल बाज़ार में order लगाया हुआ है। यह demand दिखाता है — अगर आपके पास शेयर हैं और आप तुरंत बेचना चाहते हैं, तो bid ही वह कीमत है जो आपको मिलेगी। मिसाल के तौर पर, अगर Reliance Industries का bid ₹2,950 दिख रहा है, तो NSE के order book में कोई buyer अभी उतने में लेने को तैयार है। Bid हमेशा ask price से कम होता है, और दोनों का अंतर bid-ask spread कहलाता है।
