The lowest price a seller is currently willing to accept for a stock. वह सबसे कम कीमत जो कोई seller अभी अपने शेयर के बदले स्वीकार करने को तैयार है।
The ask price (also called the offer price) is the best (lowest) price at which a seller has placed an order in the market. It represents supply — if you want to buy shares immediately, you pay the ask. If Infosys shows an ask of ₹1,805 on NSE, that is the cheapest price any seller is willing to accept right now. The ask is always higher than the bid, and the difference between the two is the bid-ask spread, which is effectively an invisible cost of trading.
Ask price (जिसे offer price भी कहते हैं) वह सबसे अच्छी (सबसे कम) कीमत है जिस पर कोई seller अभी बाज़ार में order लगाए बैठा है। यह supply दिखाता है — अगर आप तुरंत शेयर ख़रीदना चाहते हैं, तो आपको ask पर ख़रीदना होगा। अगर NSE पर Infosys का ask ₹1,805 है, तो यही सबसे सस्ती कीमत है जिस पर कोई seller देने को राज़ी है। Ask हमेशा bid से ज़्यादा होता है, और दोनों का फ़र्क़ bid-ask spread है — जो trading की एक अदृश्य लागत है।
