An IPO application mechanism where your money stays in your bank until allotment. IPO आवेदन का एक mechanism जिसमें allotment तक पैसे आपके बैंक में ही रहते हैं।

Application Supported by Blocked Amount (ASBA) is the SEBI-mandated process for applying to IPOs and rights issues. Instead of transferring funds upfront, your bank blocks the application amount in your savings account. You continue to earn interest on it until allotment. If you receive a full allotment, only the exact amount is debited; any unallotted portion is released. ASBA applications are submitted through your bank's net-banking or a broker's UPI-based IPO interface linked to your bank account.
